Sleeping in the daytime

Hi

Our 8 month old son is a fantastic sleeper at night, usually going 9-10 hours in his cot. But in the day he just won't go into his cot. The only way he'll sleep is either in his pram/or the car when we're out or on me. We've tried him in the cot in the daytime but he just plays for a bit and then gets a bit grumpy. As he gets more tired he becomes more restless and settles even less and the only option is for him to sleep on me.

My concern is that the harder we try the more he'll resist and we risk him not wanting to go down at night.

Any suggestions? Just an hour a day in his cot would give me so much more time to get caught up with things or rest.

Thanks in advance

F

hi F i dont know if it helps but the earlier u break this the easier and quicker it hopefully happens my son sleeps 12 hours at night and 1 in am and 1 in pm what worked for me was to make it at the same time every day and to put him down after playing or tiring him out . he`ll prob kick off but if he knows you mean buisness it wont take long our daughter is the same we have an 11 month age gap so nap time is equally as important for me as is them hope it helps try a bottle of milk or juice in the cot if they really persist good luck
