Good books for a 2.7 year old

My little girl just loves Hairy Maclary, Maisie Mouse and the Julia Donaldson books. I am looking for new ideas. What do other 2.7 year olds like? Is there a list available somewhere of books suitable for each age group? Grateful for suggestiions.

anything by Nick Sharrett - esp. 'You Choose' which is no words, just really cool illustrations of diff things (household objects, places to live, types of houses, types of people, types of transport etc)

Just wanted to say thank you very mmuch!! Do any of you guys order books from libraries? I do it online - it is free if you use your kiddies' cards and is fab. I will order a load of these over time. She hsa loads of books of her own but likes to see new ones from time to time. Thank again!!

Bozza we just got Whatever Next and ds absolutely loves it.

Oooh just thoguth of a good one....the Jolly Postman and the Jolly Christmas Postman. Brilliant books. Need a bit of looking after tho.
