Screaming 3 month DD

I have a 14 week old DD. She screams when she is happy (for eg. I'm tickling heror blowing rasperries on her) and screams when she's annoyed (for eg. Fed up lying on changing mat for a certain period of time).

She's my first DC so I don't have anything to compare her to but will the screaming last? I realise she is exploring her voice. Although it is cute (not the upset screaming) I can't be doing with screaming all the time! Kinda loud lol!

In my experience this sort of thing is usually a phase and they move on within a few weeks. A bit hard on the ears while it lasts though! When they're older they do it when they're playing and it is just a horrible but at least you can tell them to stop when you've had enough.

I was just about to post almost exactly the same question. My DD is 4.5 months old and squeals when she's happy. She loves the sound of her own voice and can squeal with happiness for an hour. But it is at that exact pitch that goes right through you and hurts the ears Shock.

Seems like I'm going to have to put up with it for a while then Smile .

Suppose I shouldn't complain really, as she is such a happy little baby and rarely cries and screams.
