Did/do development "curves" (centiles) ever freak you out?

Ds's started on the 9th and has dropped to nearly 5th, he's refluxy and doesn't eat as much as he should. I'm worried. All his curves have dropped, head, length and weight.

Have any of you been through this HELL?? Did things improve? How? When?

I refused to look at the charts, and I also refused to take dd to the baby clinic for them to monitor her height and weight. She was happy, active and feeding well, and that said far more about her than charts ever could. They are outdated, inaccurate for breastfed babies, and cause more concern than is necessary.

I was sent to the doctor by the health visitor because my baby is so big he has continued to be way off the scale. Way, way off.

The HV was talking about gigantism. The doctor had no concerns and actually neither did I but I came out thinking 'Too big now. Jesus! You can't win'.
