vegetable wars!

Can anyone please tell me how the hell to get my 3 year old to eat veggies?
Meal times are a battle ground. She can spot the tiniest fragment of anything that even resembles a vegetable from across the room and every plate of food is picked through like some archealogical dig.
I take some comfort that she eats lots of fruit.
Any ideas?

i always blend carrots or or squash or sweet potatoes into my spag bol or other similar sauces.

I would just dish them up and make no fuss coment or anything and one day she may just eat them. my dd has luckily ate most veg most of the time but she gets picky about other veg when she has a favorate and begs for it not be on the plate. I just dish every thing up and she tends to give it a try. when she was very small I would ask her if she was not going to eat it to just touch it with her tongue and then she could finish.

I find the best meal time are to have no battles or fights over food and I find this way its comfertable, relaxed and things are more likely to get eaten.

When my friens small children would not eat, she would have the veg and make a big deal that this was grown up food just for mummy and daddy and they would be begging for a try, sounds a bit far fetched but belive me it worked.

I do make soups and sauces but she is very suspicious of both, the wee devil!
