How do I explain the concept of "baby teeth" to a 3yo?

DD2 is getting her teeth now, and DD1 keeps talking about her only having baby teeth, and they will fall out and she will get big teeth, like mummy and DD1 Hmm

I have tried to explain that DD1's teeth will fall out and she will get her very big girl teeth, but only when she is much bigger, but she seems quite scared by the idea, which is understandable tbh.

Any ideas? She is quite an old 3yo, very articulate, but also very emotional, and it can be very hard to see what is going on in her little head.

Tell her that when she is about 6 she will be much bigger and these little teeth will be too small and she will need bigger teeth. Tell her it's fun because they get a big wiggly then come out, just one at a time and the tooth fairy gives you a special treat. Job done.

There is a Charlie and Lola book about teeth falling out. My DD really enjoyed that (she's 3).

Get to meet up with some 6/7 year olds!

Perhaps emphasise the fact that they only fall out one at a time (or so...), in case she thinks they're all going to fall out at the same time and leave her with none.
