DD won't drink milk

My DD (15mths) won't drink milk. From about 12 months she rejected her bedtime bottle, and still won't drink it whatever bottle/cup its offered in.

She's cow's milk allergic anyway so when she used to have bottles it was soya milk. She was fine with breast milk.

Do you think this is a problem?

She does have two large bowls of Alpro soya yoghurt a day, and likes goats cheese.

I think as long as she is getting plenty of calcium from other sources and she has a good healthy diet in other areas she should be fine. Aim for 3-4 portions of good sources of protien per day.

You could also try giving her plenty of other milky puddings. Rice pudding or custard could be made up at home with a lower sugar content and served with fruit for a pudding.

same issue here....we made lots of cheese sauces!
Also offered weetabix when the milk has soaked in.....

DS didn't like milk. He loved his formula and drank that until he was 2. He wouldn't even touch his favourite muesli if it had cows' milk in it, and now eats dry cheerios for breakfast. I top up his calcium intake with other dairy foods like yogurt and cheese. I also give him a vitamin supplement with calcium in it. Health visitor isn't too worried about it. I don't like milk myself but craved it when I was pregnant. For me it was the equivalent of someone craving chalk.

DS did this around the same age. Started drinking milk again when he was nearly 4, but even then, not a huge quantity. I don't think it really matters - try and get cheese/yog down her etc.
