I am starting to have a few niggles about my little one - an someone please reassure/advise?

She had a broken collarbone when she was born. She is now 4 months and not rolling at all. Additionally, she seems to not use her arms muh. She wont reach for me to pick her up. She wont reach for toys within her reach, although she will grasp and hang onto them if we put it in her hands. She has great head control and will lie on her tummy happily if we put her arms in front of her (on her elbows), but wont straighten her arms up or reah for toys -a gain they are in her reach. We were advised by HV to put her on her tummy with her arms backward to encourage her to move them in front of her, but she just stays like this.

Can anyone reassure me that this is either normal or that it is right to be concerned at this stage and get onto it??

Also just wanted to add that she has excellent leg strength and can bear her weight on them (held, obviously!) so the arms seem disproportionately weak, if that makes sense?

She sounds fine to me- my dd didn't roll over until she was about 9 months (she was already bottom shuffling first)

At four months she is young to be reaching out- I wouldn't think most babies put their arms out to be picked up until they are sitting (at least- think my dd was about 7 months or so)

My DS2 is also 4 mths and does not roll over or hold his arms up. He has only just started grabbing his feet. His brother, DS1 did not roll over until he was six months but then progressed to sitting, crawling, walking very quickly.

She sounds normal to me.
