Refusing to wear clothes

Just a rant here!
My nearly 3 yr old daughter is slowly refusing to wear anything. It all started when she was 18 months old and i put her in a cardigan that was a bit scratchy. She has not worn a cardigan or sweater since and last winter she also refused to wear tights or socks so walked around with freezing cold feet and hands,(not nice for cuddles!). Last summer she would not wear dresses, this summer she will only wear dresses, not any dress just long ones and as she has 2 of them They have been the only things she wears now covered in stains and slowly stretching and fraying.
I really should just let her get on with it but I am a sucker for lovely girls clothes. We have a wardrobe filled with gorgeous outfits and she walks around looking a complete mess. :(
Not really looking for advise as I am sure (I hope anyway) its just a phase and if not I will just have to get over it. Thank god I have a 6 month old girl too so at least someone will wear it all eventually. :)

My ds(5) loves to be naked/semi naked and will get undressed at every given opportunity but your dd is 3 and you are her mum. You need to tell her she has a choice of two outfits (dd - this or this) and tell her must decide or you take away something she likes (no tv/no comic etc). Once she's at nursery/school, you won't have the time to answer her every whim and you need to be assertive with her.

Girls who are 3 do like to be in control but you need to have a balance; she's three and you're her mummy Smile

Could she not be more naked or in the long dresses at home and then like Lucie says have a choice of two outfits for going out?
