My 9 month old makes herself vomit when eating something she not keen on.

its projectile. sometimes its when she got a lump of pasta in the back of her throat.

she has done this for aout the last 2 months, ever since we started weaning her.

food she likes no problem, but we have to try her with new foods each week, & each time we get this projectile self vomiting.

Hmm. That's a tricky one. Guess I would just try to ignore it and draw no attention to it. I certainly wouldn't be avoiding new foods, that's deffinately a slippery slope, especially so young.

Are you feeding her? I baby led weaned my 2 and would recomend to anyone, (google BLW Gill Rapley for details). This would give her more control over the whole process and the theory is that they get what they need if left to their own devices as long as they're given healthy options.

It's not foods in a certain food group is it? Just thinking allergy?

Well, I hope some part of my ramblings has been useful. Best advice is probably to avoid fancy resterants until it passes!! Smile

DD did this until fairly recently (she is 17 months). We started BLW with her and it has been a slow process but we are getting there!

We ignored her when she would make herself gag and throw up and just continue putting her plate in front of her, at the table while we are eating.

Now she helps herself to what she wants and disregards the bits she doesn't. She is eating more and more in this way and trying new textures/flavours.

DD is under a paed for her milk protein allergy and he was unconcerned and said she would eat in her own time which she has.

If you are concerned in any way you can ask your GP?
