Height centiles for older childern

My DD (10.6) was a bit of a shorty when younger - 0.4th centile at one point and referred to paediatric endocrinologist, who said she just had a bit of growth delay and would catch up by puberty. Just by observing her with peers, I can see she has caught up a lot (no longer the smallest in the class, for example) but having measured her yesterday at 135cm, that still seems a bit small when I think the age 10-11 clothes are 146cm. I've been searching online for a centile height chart so I can see if she is closing the gap but can't find one anywhere. I did find a BMI one that suggests based on height and weight she is just above the 25th centile, which looks fine, but it wasn't really what I was looking for. Are any HCPs or enthusiastic amateurs out there harbouring a centile chart for older children?

I thought there were centile charts in the red books for older children too?

mamaloco · 22/07/2010 14:19

she is just between the 9th and the 25 th on my charts (right in the middle of the 2 lines. Does that helps?

Mamaloco - that sounds perfect, thanks. Back to round about where she was at birth, IIRC.

Silverfrog - I think you're right. However, I don't think I've had the red book out since pre-school vaccinations and as we have recently moved house, I wouldn't rate my chances of finding it!

I actually know people who still know where there teenage childrens' red books are > I've no idea how they manage it!
