Opinions on Marlow please

Hello

I really like the name Marlow for a boy. What do you think?

I'm worried that it sounds too much like Marlon which i don't like.

Also how would you spell it - Marlow, Marloe, Marlo etc?

And what could it be shortened to if anything?

I have a friend called Marlo, she is Puerto Rican. I think it is very pretty.... for a girl.

I like it spelt as Marlow XD

Just joining in here but we have just named our little boy Marlow and we love it.

My sons name is Marlow too, but we spell it Marlo thanks for sharing the nickname "Mars" very cute love it.

I don't like the name at all, either.

Sorry don't like it, just makes me think of the town in ?Buckinghamshire!

Also seems a bit interchangeable between boy and girl, personally I dislike names where you cannot work out the sex of the person.
But that's just my opinion!
