Undecided! Dh has just thrown it in the ring for our dc2, just as I thought we were sorted for boys names gah.

I have no real feelings on it either way.

Just popped in to say that I know of 2 Georges. One is 9 and one is 18mths.

I like George. Have a 3yo one. And we live in a terrace not a semi

He's the only one in his nursery.

Yep! My GN is George, called Geordie or Doddie as he is in Aberdeenshire.

Best thing is that he has his own range of designer clothing at ASDA.

I love the name in theory but have taught a few and they've always been boys who're remembered for all the wrong reasons so it's not one I'd use personally. This in itself is a good reason for lots of other people to use it so that I eventually get to teach a lively but reasonably behaved George.

Georgian houses tend to be semis . It's the symmetry.

I like George. We used it as a middle name as I feared it being popular but actually there are only a couple at school.

A good friend has one tho so it's just as well.

Good name tho - Everyone can say it, no icky nicknames, everyone can spell it, classy and classic.

As a nanny I used to look after a George (He'd be about 18 now I think). When he used to write his name aged about 5 all the letters were so very round, I loved the way it looked. That's one of the reasons we ended up calling our DS George!
