Ok. OH has decided that he likes the name Rose for a girl. (Its the first name I have actually got out of him!!) I like it, but am unsure. I like longer names so they can have the option of being shortened. I was thinking if he does really like it then maybe we could double barrell it like we did with DS2 but not sure what to double barrell it with. So have you lovely ladies got any ideas?

Her last name will either be Sion or Alman

My niece is Rose.

She gets it lengthened to Rosie sometimes.

It's a lovely name. Why spoil it with a double barrel?

I am not a fan of double-barrelled first names at all. A bit too Waltons/Deep South for my tastes (nothing wrong with the Deep South if you're from there).

Rose is a lovely, classic, timeless name.

If you feel it is too short, what about one of the lengthened versions, which can be shortened to Rose:

Rosalind
Rosamund
Rosalie
Rosemary
Rosemarie

I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Rose related names.

Agree 5Dollar on d-b first names.
