I am expecting at the end of June and although we haven't found out the sex of our new baby we have a shortlist of girls names but are really stuck for boys names that go with Luca and Marcus. Any idea's? Thanks

Sacha.

Or something ending in -o would sound nice. Otto? Arlo? Milo?

Calum

Because letters U,C A are in all of them, and M in two and L in one.

Arlo

No, L is on 2 of them, but IYSWIM they sort of go together in an onamatopeic way.

You can call them LUCALUMARC for short.

If it's a girl, Camilla would fit the same (mad) principle.

overmydeadbody · 29/03/2010 16:43

No, Calum does not fit with those names, I don't think.

Hector. I see what choccy pig means. Hector keeps the Kuh sound in the middle.

Luca
Marcus
Hector

they aren't immediately matchy matchy but they follow a pattern. It is also quite latin-sounding like Luca and Marcus

Aurelian pops into my head now. I don't like it, but it has that European flavour.

Daisyoo that's because there was some famous Roman called Marcus Aurelius.

Daisy00 · 30/03/2010 08:49

Yes that must be it choccy. because Aurelius was what actually popped into my head but I thought it wouldn't sound great with a Marcus as well. so i typed Aurelian instead.
