We have decided on Edward but can't decide whether to go for Edwrad George or Edward John.

Which do you prefer?

Edward George is lovely.

MrsJohnDeere · 20/03/2010 13:06

Like both. Prefer George as a name, but think John is a more 'middle name' sort of name.

Are you likely to have any more dcs? Might you regret using either of these names as middle names and want to use them as first names for any future children?

Edward John sounds better to me.

MeMyselfAndIt · 20/03/2010 13:16

Edward George is the nicer from the two.

OhDearYoda · 20/03/2010 13:19

coolma · 20/03/2010 13:23

George Edward John - but call him Edward?

queenofthehouse · 21/03/2010 00:01

I'd say Edward George is best, Edward and John together remind me of that pair off the x factor John and Edward/Jedward...hope you don't mind my association. Love the name George anyway x

Edward George, or you'll look like a Twit and Twat fan- agree with queen.

menomena · 21/03/2010 13:46

both lovely, does one or the other have a significant meaning to help you decide?

10greenbottles · 21/03/2010 16:12

I think Edward George

mummyofexcitedprincesses · 21/03/2010 16:29

Edward George (to avoid the Jedward links and because it sounds nice).

Aviendha · 21/03/2010 16:30

I prefer Edward John, it sounds very strong.

ellesabe · 23/03/2010 16:46

Edward George

Ineedsomesleep · 23/03/2010 16:48

Edward George obviously. Dis I mention DS is George?

AllieW · 24/03/2010 19:11

Edward George sounds nicer to my ears. John seems to be a bit of a 'filler' middle name to me (unless it's after a family member).

becaroo · 24/03/2010 19:12

Edward George definately

Rindercella · 24/03/2010 19:14

Edward George.

Edward John just reminds me of Jedward/The X-Factor.

Hulababy · 24/03/2010 19:49

I prefer Edward George
