Thank God I am not pregnant because last night I was thinking what I would call my next DC and decided that I liked the name Plum.

I have never met anyone with this name or ever really thought about it before. Can anyone tell me - is it a real name or is it a nn?

I am sure that you all think it is awful ...

There is/was a girl who worked for American Vogue called Plum Sykes. Don't know if it was her real name or just a nickname.

There is an MNer whose dd has this as a middle name .

I wouldn't do it myself. Imagine if the poor child became overweight - she'd be a plum pudding! Not good.

Well, I just meant it was her nickname. I'm sure you could use it if you really wanted to.... There are kids called Apple after all. I think it's quite sweet, but could be a bit awkward or twee.
