...Zoe - am considering this and am wondering whether you think it is more popular with one demographic than another or not? What sort of a person is called Zoe?

Thanks!

I had 2 Zoes in my class 20 odd years ago. They were both very different so it's just like any other name to me.

I would vaguely imagine a middle-class woman in her 30s, though it is pretty timeless and would not be out of place on a little girl from any background or region.

The Zoes I know (4, ranging from late 30s to about 6), I would describe as being largely upper working class. None of them are middle class, but none would be described as chavvy either. Just ordinary, state school educated children.

I do think it is a pretty name, btw

Its my middle name
I'm quite normal, probably middle class.

I think its a good classless, ageless name

The only Zoe I have ever known was a complete cow. Sorry.

I taught a Zoe. She is now 12 or 13. Extremely bright and motivated, bit of a handful, outdoorsy, artistic, very sociable. Lots of curly brown hair and freckles. Mother is a teacher and Dad works in conservation.

I know a Zoey and she is lovely.

I would have been a Zoe if my dad had had his way. I'm middle class, in my 30s. And a lovely person
