So expecting no.3 and love to have names sorted early as I feel it helps with the bonding process.
We are pretty much agreed on a boys name: Quinn Michael
But we have opposite tastes in girls names so far the only ones we can agree on are:
Eliza Jane
Ella Katherine
Penny

Opinions appreciated!

1 or 2, not keen on penny. Careful you don't pik then go off it by the time the baby comes!

I remember a song 'Eliza Jane' from being a Guide, not a horrible song by any means but that pops into my head straight away . I like Ella Katherine better, not keen on Penny.

Eliza Katherine

thirtysomething · 24/01/2010 13:15

Like Eliza but for some reason prefer it spelt Elisa (pronounced Ell-eeza)
If you like Eliza and Ella what about Elisabeth then loads of possible shortenings-Ella, Ellie, Beth, Elisa, Lizzie etc
Also love Ella Katherine (however be warned Ella seems VERY popular at the moment!)

Not keen on penny, sorry.

Agree with Cyteen - Eliza Katherine.

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 24/01/2010 13:22

Ella Katherine.

Quinn Michael is lovely by the way.

monetinjanuary · 24/01/2010 13:24

Eliza Katherine is less predictable than Eliza Jane.

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 24/01/2010 13:26

Isn't there a rhyme about Eliza Jane from down the lane, etc?

diddl · 24/01/2010 14:05

Elizabeth Katherine?nnEliza?

crumpette · 24/01/2010 14:35

Eliza Katherine, just because Ella sounds like an abbrevation so you could in fact shorten Eliza to Ella if you feel like it

and Eliza Jane together sounds, to me, a bit like a singing western cowgirl in an old movie

Hi all thanks for opinions.

PotPourri - had names by month 2 for last two pregnancies - loved it felt it gave my babies and identity rather than 'it' or bean!

thirtysomething & diddl - would def give sull name of Elizabeth and shorten it. Think it is nice to have the option. Just want to have nn sorted as our last name has a hard t sound in it and where I live Beth (which is lovely) would quickly become Bet ( which i don not like at all!)and Lizzie is too common around here esp with our surname.

  1. Eliza Jane
  2. Ella Katherine

(although tempted to use Elizabeth on the bc)

MrsJohnDeere · 24/01/2010 20:52

Eliza Katherine

(although I actually prefer Elizabeth Kate)
