MamaLazarou · 24/11/2009 18:31

Too many of em already.

CirrhosisByTheSea · 24/11/2009 18:31

I used to like it alot but it's so over used now it just melts in to the background, for me. Not everyone minds a 'background-y' name though. I just like less used names in general.

twolittlekings · 24/11/2009 18:34

Henry is better but then I am biased the problem with harry is it is shortened already and sounds a bit geezer-ish.

Better to have henry and then can shorten if like. My Grandpa was a Henry and everyone called him harry. It suits some people but not others IYSWIM

PoppyIsApain · 24/11/2009 18:34

LaDiDaDi · 24/11/2009 20:15

And only a consonant away from naffness (Barry).

CantSleepWontSleep · 24/11/2009 20:29

Boring.

qwerty123 · 24/11/2009 20:54

All the Harry's I know are not the only ones in their class or playgroup, so they always have their surname or initial added to their name when teachers/playleaders/children are talking about them.

sophiesmummie · 24/11/2009 22:09

Agree - very boring and bland.

(sorry, you did ask)
