whats evryones opinions on zachary james?
and does anybody know any other ways to speall zachary that is a bit more unique? x

like it. Don't be unique with spelling - he'll be pissed off with having to correct everyone all his life.

I like it but would stick with that spelling as otherwise it would get annoying. Unless you like Zechariah etc to be more adventurous/biblical.

It's a lovely lovely name. Keep with the given spelling, Zachary is unusual enough already!

I wanted Zachary for a boy this pregnancy, it's a lovely name. I'm having a girl though. I'll let you use it if you want (fellow due Jan 2010 here)

Nope, just stick with Zachary! As it is people will be spelling it Zach, Zac and Zack.

It's a nice name - I know a Zachary James already, may not be as unusual as you think?

my ds1 is a Zakariah James and is Zak for short and nobody ever spells it right but then I have genevieve and an elliot and they are always spelt diffrent so i think it dosent matter

oh that was nearly our choice - I'd stick with Zachery for spelling btw

I am not keen on it as around here it's the most overused name, my DD has 4 Zack / Zac / Zach / Zak's in her class of 15 and there are another 6 in the other 3 groups plus virtually every family I know has a Zachary in some form.

Not that keen either, I'm afraid. Zach has become very popular in a short space of time (maybe due to HSM?), that I too know several little Zacks. I also find it sounds quite 'harsh'.

I have a lovely Greek friend (in his 30s) called Zacharias - now that sounds nicer imo.
