Yes I think he was going for the spiritual aspect.

Horatio is unusual We both used to work on the ship that Hornblower was filmed on, so nice connection.

There is a Bodhi/Bodie (?) at my DC's nursery.

it always makes me think of The Professionals

piscesmoon · 25/10/2009 08:18

Yes-don't do it.

Conjures up images of 70's TV/film

I vote no.

Edward - Bear for nick name.

Bodie if you must - but not Body. It will be mispronounced accidentally or on purpose for his whole life.

skihorse · 25/10/2009 17:40

Bode (bodie) as in Bode Miller? Champion skiier and general bad boy?

Bluerussian · 15/11/2019 20:53

No thank you. Particularly not 'body'. Anyway the situation will have long since been resolved, I didn't realise this was an old thread.

I did know someone called 'Jealous', I kid you not.

diddlediddle · 15/11/2019 21:49

Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne's son is called Bear. It's dreadful.

Bodhi I actually quite like, with that spelling.
Brodie is also nice.
Dylan is great

Bluerussian · 15/11/2019 21:52

Yes, Dylan is my favourite of those.
I'm seriously wondering how I found this thread, it happened by accident and I didn't notice how old it was!

lowlandLucky · 15/11/2019 23:45

If you love your child DONT call it body. Maybe you could call it Brodie instead

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/11/2019 23:49

Zombie 🧟‍♂️. Little Bear or Body will be about 9-10 years old now

BonBon411 · 16/11/2019 00:51

People will be glancing at others sideways when they hear these weird names.

IckleBear · 16/11/2019 09:00

Too weird..

IckleBear · 16/11/2019 09:01

Ohh, zombie thread!!!

Whattodoabout · 18/11/2019 11:50

He’s called Edward, Bear is a nickname.
