What do you think?
It has received less than enthusiastic responses so far, so would like opinions.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I've never heard of it before. I think it sounds quite harsh, and wouldn't use it myself.

I think Georgina is better

Also read courgette.

Georgina or Georgiana far prettier.

boodleboot · 12/10/2009 12:39

courgette?

are you having a baby vegetable?

Georgia or Georgiana is nicer non?

velveteenbun · 12/10/2009 15:54

I like it. Don't think it sounds like courgette

rubyredface · 12/10/2009 15:57

One of my closest friends is called Georgette but everyone calls her Georgie (waves if she's here) - nicer lady you'd never meet

MrsMorgan · 12/10/2009 15:58

I love it. My cousins twins are Harriet and Georgette.

GreatGooglyMoogly · 12/10/2009 15:59

It's a fabric, isn't it?

suwoo · 12/10/2009 16:01

Fabric was the first thing that came to my mind too

rosieposey · 12/10/2009 16:01

Its a material (sort of transparenty) so thats all it would remind me of, sorry. Georgiana is lovely and old fashioned if a bit of a mouthful, Georgia is a really common name now and Georgina reminds me of the famous five and a mean estate agent i once knew

bellissima · 13/10/2009 08:57

Sounds like a brand of mini-pill.

LilyBolero · 13/10/2009 09:01

Reminds me of Lillets (sorry). I prefer Georgina, or Georgiana.

crumpet · 13/10/2009 09:10

I associate it with Georgette Heyer, so it conjours up nothing but lovely thoughts!
