SoupDragon · 12/07/2009 22:01

It's a crap name.

SoWhat · 12/07/2009 22:03

Ridiculous

HairyMuff · 12/07/2009 22:03

It sounds like the sort of name my daughter would give to one of her teddies.

Bonneville · 12/07/2009 22:05

Melina (Melena means 'bloody stools')
Breezy (windy)

Windy and bloody stools - LOL. NOOOOOOOOOO!

jkklpu · 12/07/2009 22:05

cousin of Windy Miller from Camberwick Green, perhaps?

Tinker · 12/07/2009 23:01

She'd have to look like Goldie Hawn and stick her bottom lip out to blow up her floppy fringe.

sorry, i hate to sound rude but is that one of the seven dwarves?

Am assuming (probably wrongly) that breezy was a child of the sixties? or further back when people were too polite to say anything and now she is old enough that she gets away with it anyway?

AnybodyHomeMcFly · 12/07/2009 23:10

Terrible

Washersaurus · 12/07/2009 23:23

What about something stronger......like Scirocco?

Washersaurus · 12/07/2009 23:24

serinBrightside · 13/07/2009 00:37

I work with someone who has the surname Breezy, he gets loads of stick.

nooka · 13/07/2009 00:44

Poor her. It would be peculiar as a nick name.

thumbwitch · 13/07/2009 00:55

Dreadful name, poor thing.

magbags · 13/07/2009 08:04

Err, no. Awful.

nickschick · 13/07/2009 08:08

Awww my mums cousin is called Breezy (it isnt her real name its just what her sister called her as a young child) they are children of the 50s though so probably manners did mean she wasnt bullied - I love it though.

boodleboot · 13/07/2009 08:15

I'm not sure how old she is - i would say mid fifties...its certainly not a particularly common, or sensible name, i'll give you that but to be honest it really suits her. She is a very 'bright and breezy' person and is such fun everybody loves her. Perhaps its a case of someone growing into their name or that a name has such a positive link with a lovely person that it becomes attractive. ...Clearly to be accepted into todays society she should have been called Isabella.....

Breezy Trousers?

Thunderduck · 13/07/2009 18:39

No.It sounds like a porn star's name.

hocuspontas · 13/07/2009 18:47

I can imagine it suiting a woman but not a baby!

Breezy Melina sounds a bit like Slinky Malinki and Hairy Maclary...

happyjules · 14/07/2009 14:24

Love it! Would have been Dd2's name but our surname begins with O So it wasn't to be.
