Was flicking through books to get inspiration and chuckled at the thought of calling baby Elvis but since then it's really growing on me! Is that just mad or do you think it's passable?

I went to school with a couple of Elvis's: it is quite a popular Traveller name and no one thought anything of it at all at school.

Wouldn't do it myself though I have to say.

My DH's boss is called Elvis. No-one comments actually, you'd be surprised how quickly people get used to things.

I very seriously wanted it if we had a boy, but DH banned it. (Only partly because his boss happened to be called it.)

I wasn't allowed Priscilla or Lisa-Marie either

Have you ever seen Fireman Sam? Elvis is the idiot firefighter. In his role-play game, ds1 (3.5) has decided that dh is Elvis Cridlington and he ends up calling him Elvis most of the time, including yelling across the park. I think it's hilarious, but joke beginning to wear a bit thin with dh. I don't mind being Penny Morris, of course.

I would have loved to call DS Elvis but was banned. Probably for the best I expect.
Baby 2 is due around his birthday so hoping I'll be allowed Elvis or Presley as a middle name if it's aboy.
If it's a girl may go for Sunny as a middle name after Sun records...
