It's the only name DH and I can agree on for a boy (with a possibility of George, but we're only half in love with that). Arthur does not go with our surname at all! Help as we've been thinking about this for months and not come up with anything!

Ernest?
Oswald?

Are you absolutely sure you can't use Arthur? - it's easy to worry too much. At least your surname isn't Daley.

I think Kevin's due a comeback meself.

Arthur is a great name. Lol @ portandblack Albert Hall, excellent!

What you need is a First World War name - look on war memorials!

Stanley
Frederick
Albert
Alfred
Edwin
Edward
Ernest
Wilfred
William (same era but rather more popular)

(I see on reading thread that you have already rejected some of these, but oh well)

Wilbur is top of our list now - probably shortened to Wil or Bertie.

We also like Hugo, George and Algernon (shortened to Algie).
