I have loved reading your other name threads, Wolf, Queenie, Jem. They were yours weren't they? (ok maybe not Jem, can't remember)

fruitshootsnweaveseasterbasket · 01/04/2009 22:48

I think Medusa for a middle name

Gargoyle Medusa

lovely

pollywobbledoodle · 01/04/2009 22:51

would be better spelt the celtic way....Ghargoilhe

chegirl · 01/04/2009 22:52

Sorry but I think its a bit chavvy

duchesse · 01/04/2009 22:56

I don't know- have you seen the kid's face on the scan? It might suit...

suwoo · 01/04/2009 22:59

at duchesse.

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 01/04/2009 23:02

I'm quite fancying Dr.Pepper for my next if it is a boy. Sprite or 7up for a girl.

duchesse · 01/04/2009 23:03

Of course, after my scan, I've decided to call mine Princess Breathtakingly Gorgeous Clearly Superior Somuch Prettier Thanyours, if it's a boy.

But I'm sure Gargoyle or Garghoile or however you decide to spell it will suit yours.

duchesse · 01/04/2009 23:03

Seashells- you forgot the apostrophe in 7'Up

mrsruffallo · 01/04/2009 23:06

OOH I am liking Sprite- that will go on my girls list!

OP posts:
chegirl · 01/04/2009 23:17

I like Rubella

Its so pretty.

SheSellsSeashellsByTheSeashore · 01/04/2009 23:18

Chlamydia is nicer chegirl.

gibbberish · 01/04/2009 23:19

Loving the celtic spelling

chegirl · 01/04/2009 23:22

Mmm Seashells - Chlamydia and Candidia for twins I think. Girls of course.

Gonnereahea and Syphilis for boys - so classy. Does anyone know the meaning? I have lost my baby names book.

fembear · 01/04/2009 23:34

You can't have Gonnereahea for a boy's name. Isn't it the name of one of King Lear's daughters?

Northernlurker · 01/04/2009 23:45

Fembear - she can have Gonneywhatsit for a boy if she wants! It's her baby and her choice!

Personally I'm going for Pluto next. Pluto and Spam if it's twins - call me crazy but it's just what I WANT!

Do you think Spame is better though? Or Spamme?

gibbberish · 01/04/2009 23:52

No, surely S'paihgdhme would make more of a statement.

After all, you don't want him being confused with all the other Spams in his class do you?

Northernlurker · 02/04/2009 00:07

Gibberish - I like that but I don't think I could persuade dh - he prefers simple names - that go better with our surname.

He's suggested Sa'Usagggge though - not very blooming simple I said! LOL

You prounounce it Sa-mmmm though.

I'm also considering Shoe - but do you think it sounds too ethnic?

Pluto and Shoe
Pluto and Spam

Either works with dd1's name 'Coathook' NO E

iSOLOvechocolate · 02/04/2009 00:12

Another vote for Sprite here...except votes don't count anymore as it's April 2nd now...

TsarChasm · 02/04/2009 00:14

Shoe is good for twins too. Left Shoe and Right Shoe/or Sock/or Glove...

And if they get lost you can say 'Has anyone seen my Shoes anywhere?'
