Theoretically...Bear. Would you?

Ok, so this is VERY theoretical...

Dh and I have decided to try for another baby in 2 years time. So a long way off. We have 2 dds.

But IF we were to have a ds next time, we both love the name Bear. We know an adult Bear and both really love it.

But would you? Could you? Opinions please!

My partner is called Edward and his childhood nickname was Bear. I call him that a lot, along with Teddy. If he were not called Edward, I would definitely have the name for a son, along with all of the adorable nicknames. But on its own, Bear is a bit silly.

Bear Grylls has a lot to answer for! I always snigger when I hear his name, TBH. And there's no chance he was named Bear at birth.

Sorry, this is barking mad! If you're a Native American or Canadian, fine. Or a deranged hippy...

We have a Theodore that we used to call Teddy, like a poster further up. It's cute for a baby but who wants to be a Bear for life?

Bruno?

It's my nickname for my DH, so I love it, but I can tell you that his colleagues pissed themselves laughing when they heard me call him that for the first time (he's a skinny mild-mannered computer nerd - not exactly the Bear type).

I agree - Edward or Theo and Bear for short in the family would be nice.
