Axom, Heady, Bummy Head Toma (né Hyack), Sophie (a boy, I think), Eliza (again, a boy, I think).

They're DS2's little brothers/children.

I quite like Axom...

UpSinceCrapOClock · 27/11/2008 13:43

I think Bummy Head will go nicely - and Bum is such a lovely nickname and can easily fit an adult...

Your ds2 should talk to my dd, she lacks imagination in this area - her babyborn doll is called (wait for it) 'baby'

EachPeachPearMum · 27/11/2008 13:44

DD has Fluffytoes, Abracadabra, and baby Onions!

sweetkitty · 27/11/2008 13:45

DD1 and 2 have

Rachel (a boy),Muncher, Millie, Mollie, Oopsy Doopsy and her little sister Opps, Eyelasha, Sophie, Katie x3, Mag, Coomie, Fuzzball, Winkydoll (needs no explanation as to why he's called that), Bath baby, Jessica, Chloe, Brake, Fashion and Hannah

NotQuiteCockney · 27/11/2008 13:45

Oh, give it time, when DS2's first little brother appeared, he was a little boy at the nursery who didn't have a mum or a dad or a name. Then he was DS2's little brother, but DS2 didn't know his name (or who his parents were ).

And now we have a whole troop of them.

Axom is a corruption of Axonn - who is a Bionicle. Dunno where Heady and Hyack come from. Toma, Sophie and Eliza are all kids at school. Bummy Head is another mystery, of sorts.

Nice names! Are they names for actual physical objects? Or just imaginary people?
I like Onions particularly, and Muncher.

DS1 had a teddy called ' pooker-pompom-potpot'
(?)

donnie · 27/11/2008 13:51

arse is better than bummy though. My ds is called arse feng-shui asti spermatronix.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/11/2008 15:16

NQC- it's 'Baby Onions' as one whole name!
Sorry- didn't clarify- these are what she is going to call DS when he is born in Jan!

NotQuiteCockney · 27/11/2008 18:01

Oh, well, that's very helpful of you.

I think Fluffytoes is more of a girl's name on reflection. Abracadabra is good, but tricky for the spelling. I'd go with Baby Onions.

EachPeachPearMum · 27/11/2008 18:09

I think she may be a wee bit disappointed!

Nancy66 · 27/11/2008 18:44

My nephew (aged 4) has a kitten called Mickey Mouse Batman. He couldn't think of a name so my sister said 'just call him after something or someone you really like' so that's what he came up with.

NotQuiteCockney · 27/11/2008 18:48

Very helpful of her, rather.

I like the kitten name. Didn't one of the Zappa kids get named that way? Dweezil?

ds1 just has Alan, who is a girl. she lives in Iceland and he gets quite upset that she never visits him.
she has all different colour hair and sometimes her mum cuts it too short.
her mum, dad and baby brother are all called Alan too.
she has a red car with some marks on it.
she wears a skeleton t-shirt and skeleton trousers sometimes.
oh, and she has lots of play-dough but she has mixed all the colours together

when we have our new baby it is apparently going to be a boy, and we will give it the same name as ds1.
:S

Umlellala · 27/11/2008 19:06

I asked dd 2.6, who she might meet at her new playgroup, what their name might be.

Belaki pffttttt (blowing raspberry)

then fell about laughing.

Everybody is Loki or Lacki or Beliki!

carrieon · 27/11/2008 19:06

My brother's teddy was called Rubella. I actually thought it was a real name for a scarily long time.

NotQuiteCockney · 27/11/2008 19:06

Oh, those Icelandic people, they're quite wacky, they're always giving everyone in a family the same name, and mixing all their colours together. No wonder they couldn't run banks properly!

DS2 spends a lot of time 'teaching' his children/little brothers about things. It's nice, if slightly disturbing to hear him going on and on about whatever they're meant to learn - currently it's aeroplanes and Scottish Dancing.

My DD used to have about 8 dolls all called Sarah.
She's very imaginative!

ch1cago · 28/11/2008 22:09

I'm due in 2 weeks and DS is insisting that his sibling be called Scoop, girl or boy, actually I'm quite relieved as we only narrowly avoided Muck after much persuasion

squeaver · 28/11/2008 22:14

My dd has Jacka, Ginni (both boys), Sasa (girl) and various others.

She spends a lot of time at their houses where she only ever eats crisps.

merryandmad · 28/11/2008 22:24

My dd1 got "married" last week at nursery- when I asked her if she was changing her name to her husbands- she looked astonished and said - her new name is "dd1-mermaid-princess".
She now wants to find a new boy to marry so she can change her name again

DontCallMeBaby · 28/11/2008 22:30

DD's imaginary friends are called Tallulah, Blossom, Candyfloss, Flossom and Harry, and they recently produced a DC (not sure if a DS or DD) called Superhero Baby. They all clean their teeth with rainbow-flavoured toothpaste, and are generally rather pleasant to have about the place.

Her imagination fails her when it comes to toys, however, and EVERYTHING is called Rosie. She decided the Christmas angel my mum made was called Daffodil, which I thought was rather lovely, but then she realised this wasn't on, and re-christened the angel ... Rosie.
