Frances has always been high on my list of faves but dp isn't keen.

Frances is nice - though prefer it as a boys name (Francis).

I like grown up but feminine names for girls. Along the lines of:

Ione
Helene
Isadore

Well I like Elizabeth or Erin best but couldn't use them because of stupid surname.

I love Elizabeth as it lends itself to so many nicknames.

I love Frances. You could read her "Bread and Jam for Frances", that's a great book.
