For a girl, what do you think?

I think we are having it but of we have a boy [sorry] I do love the name .

When i saw Bay I thought nice, but for a boy in my head.

not for me personally - a bit of a nothing name imo

Think of it as a boy name - Kirsty Allsop's son's name, in fact.

sorry, but I'm not keen. Either think of bay tree or a bay horse. Not a name imo.

I'm sorry - in theory, yes, beautiful, but in the current zeitgeist it would have to be a middle name, first name beginning E.

I know a (really nice) woman with a little girl called Bay.

The family is very into water sports and apparently it means Bay like a natural harbour, an inlet, is that the word??

Not like a Horse which is what came first to my mind.

I like it.. Simple, unusual, pretty.

Try spelling it differently, Bey, Baye or Bai, perhaps - get people away from thinking about herbs, otherwise go the whole hog and name the babe garni (as in 'bouquet' - ha ha!)
