I'm only curious as I read an article where she said she was struggling as their other children have such unusual names.

Many thanks Princesspeahead - of course I believe you. You are obviously 'in the know'.
Lovely names

Podrick · 17/09/2008 18:38

He is called Phil

NicMac · 17/09/2008 21:36

I am fed up with people calling their children Oscar, I started it 6 years ago!!! Still must mean I have good taste, she seems such a lovely person.

TheCrackFox · 17/09/2008 21:45

NicMac, I started it 7 years ago! I thought I was oh so original but have met a couple of Oscars aged 8 and 9. Grrr!

nappyaddict · 17/09/2008 21:45

Bay is such a stupid name - if you can call it that! I do like Atlas though.

frazzledoldbag34 · 17/09/2008 21:48

I love Bay and my nephew is Oscar. I even know a Hercules (but then I am very, very posh)

nappyaddict · 17/09/2008 22:07

UniversallyChallenged · 17/09/2008 22:07

no her 2nd

LynetteScavo · 17/09/2008 22:08

NicMc - you can't say that. I posted an almost identical post once and was told to get over my self, (and other unplesantries)

But obviously I agree with you.

controlfreakinfreaky · 17/09/2008 22:17

Piffle · 17/09/2008 22:47

PrincessPeaHead · 18/09/2008 07:52

excellent cf. we are entering 11+ hell here this year so you can give me sage advice

LuLuBai · 18/09/2008 08:48

Yup Lynette - I seem to remember saying that my friend with a 17 year old Oscar would argue that hers was the first. I also have a friend with a 35 year old brother called Oscar. No doubt their mother thinks she was the first too....

Whatever - it's a great name.

controlfreakinfreaky · 18/09/2008 12:39

any time at all pph. am veritable queen of verbal reasoning..... and can reccommend some good books. partic. maths..... have got to do it all over again with ds2.

PrincessPeaHead · 18/09/2008 13:18

maths is the issue
VR and NVR she consistently gets 130 so not bothering with that. maths is a disaster though.
bond practice papers? what do you reckon - 2ce a week or should I make her do them nightly (groan - so NOT a pushy parent but if needs must...)

controlfreakinfreaky · 18/09/2008 13:20

will email you with my maths thoughts pph ...
