What do you think of these?

rosalie sounds a bit like a fortune teller.

DisenchantedPlusBump · 17/08/2008 22:36

And how would you pronounce Rosalie upon reading?

OP posts:

rosa lee

Heated · 17/08/2008 22:39

Rose-a-lee, as in the gypsey fortune teller.

Dahlia is so-so, I'd get irritated with the inevitable differences in pn: Dar-lee-a or Day-lee-a.

castille · 17/08/2008 22:39

In France it's pronounced Rose-a-lee.

I know two French Rosalies, one is 83, the other 4

MrsMattie · 17/08/2008 22:40

Think they're both lovely, especially Rosalie.

collision · 17/08/2008 22:40

rozzalee

not keen on either and imho dont go with your boy names

pointydog · 17/08/2008 22:41

I don't like either of them mesel

DisenchantedPlusBump · 17/08/2008 22:42

See i think rozzalee too

not rosalee

Hmmm saying them together it doesn't really go with the boys names.

I think Dahlia does a little more.

I know of a rosalie, i think it is lovely, no idea how it is said but i think of her as Roz-a-lee

MrsMattie · 17/08/2008 22:44

I've always thought it was Rosa-Lee, not Roz-a-Lee. Hmmm.

ChasingSquirrels · 17/08/2008 22:45
