Is it just me or is Snowboy (read comments) really cool?

(Well, maybe if English wasn't your first language... )

Was it that article? I don't see any comments there.

Here is another Times article on the same subject. Lots of hilarious comments there.

CuckooChocolateOrange · 15/08/2008 18:03

Was that the one that said that nobody is calling their children Margaret or Richard anymore. Ha ha! I always was a salmon swimming up stream.

CuckooChocolateOrange · 15/08/2008 18:18

Hmmm so Pamela Satran is behind the trend for calling girls Rory. Pissing on the celtic culture IMO. Rory is (was?) a boy's name and I am not impressed.

stroppyknickers · 15/08/2008 18:24

Mmm. I know one called something very like Blade.

CuckooChocolateOrange · 15/08/2008 18:33

Given that a 15 yr old is stabbed twice a week, that seems such an inappropriate and violent name.

I can't understand why Mabel isn't more popular. Isabel abound... Well done MrsWoolf may I commend you on your good taste.

Love Elsie and Edith too. Olive. Not sure. Too savoury snack perhaps!

We've just named our baby boy Richard John - family names as well as names we liked.
