Middle name to go with Tess... suggestions needed

Expecting my 4th dc and second DD..

Have pretty much decided on Tess as a first name but am really stuck with middle names to go with it. Seems to need a longer middle name and vowels seems to go well but I can't find anything that sounds 'right'..

Tess Elizabeth is nice but my other dd is Rose Elizabeth so that's out..

any ideas??

Tess Bethany
Tess Amelia
Tess Elenor
Tess Isabella
Tess Madeleine
Tess Abigail

Neverenough · 09/08/2008 23:58

Or call her Tessa which opens up the consonants a little more!

Janni · 09/08/2008 23:58

I like Tess as a name.

Tess plus a 3 syllable name is good

eg Tess Alicia
Tess Maria
Tess Natasha
Tess Rhianna etc etc

jemimap · 10/08/2008 00:03

oo I like Tess Eleanor and Isabella.. do you all the 's's' sound ok though with Tess Isabella?

I'm not as keen on Tessa.. not sure why.. I just like the simplicity of 'tess'. It's why I chose Rose for my first DD, just nice and uncomplicated..

fuck me, i must be on drugs because i read the name in the title as 'Tesco'.

3andnomore · 10/08/2008 00:08

I think Tess Isabella sounds good....and can't see the s's as a problem....i.e. it isn't difficult rolling of the tongue, imo....

lol at Expat

Neverenough · 10/08/2008 00:09

Agree 3 syllables best.

Tess Ophelia
Tess Marcheline
Tess Victoria
Tess Evangeline

You could go for something quite elegant and unusual!

Neverenough · 10/08/2008 00:10

...or 4 even(can't count, clearly...)

Collision · 10/08/2008 00:11

Tess Imogen
Tess Clementine
Tess Evangeline
Tess Annabel
Tess Oriele

I really like Tess Isabella - I think 3 syllables, starting with a vowel, sounds particularly good with Tess.

Neverenough · 10/08/2008 00:20

...looks like I'm not the only one with counting issues Janni.....

Janni · 10/08/2008 00:24

[shame] - it's late, I've had wine, but you get my drift

Neverenough · 10/08/2008 00:29

I like Tess Imogen.

giggleBirthdayWitch · 12/10/2008 00:45

I thinks it needs to start with a vowel.
so that it 'rolls' iyswim

olivia
eleanor
alexandra
amelia

you get the gist

ladymariner · 12/10/2008 00:46

Yes, I like tess alexandra aswell

nappyaddict · 12/10/2008 00:48

see i don't like the rolling thing. makes it sound like it is one long name rather than 2 seperate ones.

giggleBirthdayWitch · 12/10/2008 00:53

k, nappies.

but i like rolling. Especially on names.
So does the op.
