Still going on my daily mind changing. i swear DH is going to be driven mad if I talk about it anymore to him so I have to rely on the wisdom of you lot!!

Ok, think i've narrowed it down to these 3. Be as kind/mean as you like by the way - i appreciate the honesty.

  1. Thomas Arthur (named after both grandfathers so bit of family history)

  2. Joseph Isaac (bit old testament??)

  3. Rory Alexander (Rory bit of a mouthful?)

Still got Sebastian David on list aswell but slipping as DH is going off it by the day.

I adore both joseph and Isaac. Both beautiful strong boys names.

Please pick that one!

Oh my surname begins with a 'W' if that helps - don't think any dodgy combinations with the choices.

Rory Thomas is nice.

Might be worth a go on the sweet nature front! I was saying the other day to my friend perhaps I should have named ds2 Rory as well! He's a bit of a handful to say the least and totally different from ds1!

I could have named my ds treacle pudding and he'd still have been as mischeivous as he is!

I'm really liking Thomas Isaac now. Ok, Thomas is very popular but having isaac as a middle name just makes it slightly more interesting. more importantly dh likes it - finally!!

you have similar taste in names to me

how about Thomas William?

All those are fine.

Thomas is very popular if that is an issue for you (he will always be Thomas J or whatever).

Joseph also popular. Rory less so hereabouts. I like Sebastian too.

Oh if we can mix and match then it has to be Arthur Sebastian.

Rory Alexander W would be RAW in initial terms if that bothers you (but if DS2 was a girl he would have been FAB )

I don't think Joseph Isaac is a good combination - just too Old Testament, like you said. I like Rory Alexander the best. But Rory is a fave of mine I would have liked to use, if I had had another boy.

Joseph Alexander would be JAW
Rory Alexander or Arthur would be RAW (dunno, might be quite cool)

just thought you should know

Arthur Sebastian gets my vote if we can mix and match.

Rory Alexander also equally good.

Or Sebastian X-name.

Lovely traditional names - classic and always classy classy.

Thomas and Joseph very popular - nice names but every other kid I know is called Thomas or Joseph.
