Is Jules ok as an official name, or would you lengthen it?

Although I am SURE this baby will be a girl (I thought the same with DS too!) I guess I need some boys names just in case. DP and I both really like Jules/Jools but not keen on Julian/Julius. Do you think it is ok as a stand alone name? Our other option is Jasper...Boys names are sooo difficult!

Jasper is fab. Jules / Jools is great too but only as a nickname. If you don't like Julian or Julius then don't go there. Stick with Jasper (although as the abbreviation Jas makes my toes curl).

Ha - DA I thought you were referring obliquely to your parents. (My husband is Aaron and my grandmother used to call him Sharon... )
