Picked my boy's name now stupid celebrity has called their baby it

i am supposed to be having a boy in 3 weeks and picked my name only to find out yesterday that stupid Matthew McConaughey had a baby and used the same name. should i still call my baby this name or will he be one of a million with the same name in 5 years? i am all annoyed.

i am not ashamed of my taste in men OMDB i definitely wouldnt kick him out of my bed (DH might but i wouldnt haha) i have spent many a happy hour watching him and listening to his southern drawl there is a thread around comparing dreamboats and he is a hot one some have put tony blair on there too so im not that bad haha

Unless the celeb is at the peak of their pulling power then I doubt their choice of baby names is going to make that much difference to the general uptake of the name.

Levi is a nice, biblical name. Use it anyhow.

If you look at the stats Levi is enjoying a bit of popularity surge both sides of the Atlantic, so Mr McConaughey is just following a trend.

I understand your frustration though. Throughout my pregnancy I dreaded "my" name being picked by someone in the public eye.

But I wouldn't let it put you off if that is the name you most love.

It's already a widely used name - it's not like you invented it...if you like it then stick with it.
