@countrylifeorcitylife obviously 21 years ago it wasn’t that popular and I don’t know many people with school age children…

Much prefer Rory, but that’s because I dislike Henry. It can be pronounced differently depending on accents though so might be something to think through if that’s important to you.

Love Rory and Henry so I’d go with whichever you like more. My ds has a friend Rory and I’ve never heard anyone mispronounce it.

I can’t say Rory, my “r” sounds like a “w”. Sadly DD gave DGS a name with “r” in its first syllable, following a consonant, which the surname also has, and I really struggle to say his name. Speech defects are miserable and embarrassing.

Please don't feel embarrassed! It's not a failure of character or judgement.

I've got a 29 year old Rory.

I like Henry too, but adore Rory. It was really uncommon when he was born, and it amuses me to see that it's become really popular. I was ahead of a trend for once!
