Name regret

I spent a long time looking but dad vetoed sooo many of my name suggestions and in the end it got so close to the deadline that I ended up going with one he wanted.
Now I feel unsure and that it doesn’t suit him so don’t like telling people. I’ve tried diminutives but not really helping. I don’t really want it occupying my thoughts but can’t quite shake it. I’m prob overthinking it right? Perhaps I thought about it too much before so it’s hard to let go of other options.
(not really an option to change it as he doesn’t like talking about it)

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Is the baby here yet? Can you give him an affectionate nn instead? Buddy for example.

If young try out other name for a week and choose one you both love. Ditch the name you dislike enough not to use.

She said the dad won't discuss it. Honestly what's with people not actually reading the OP before responding 🙄

Nice attempt at pure nosiness. Op your dp sounds like a bit of a prick, unless all your names were ridiculous. How old is the baby
