I prefer the name Imogen but both sound nice

Elmosgirl · 17/06/2008 19:38

Imogen

Imogen

thelittlestbadger · 17/06/2008 19:39

I prefer Imogen. If you do go with Annabelle, I think the normal spelling (Annabel) is nicer (IMO) and it will probably often get spelt that way anyhow.

Heifer · 17/06/2008 20:01

Imogen

Hulababy · 17/06/2008 20:01

Annabelle

Weegiemum · 17/06/2008 20:10

I like Imogen!

CountessDracula · 17/06/2008 20:14

Annabelle
(prefer Annabel tho)

Imogen always gets shortened to Immie/Immy which sounds wet

SummerC · 17/06/2008 20:17

I'm in the minority I guess but I prefer Annabelle. Imogen makes me think of that annoying bint off of big brother. :::shudder:::

Lubyloo · 17/06/2008 20:17

Imogen and love it shortened to Immie

yogabird · 17/06/2008 20:18

love Annabel, spelt this way.

missblythe · 17/06/2008 20:20

Imogen.

VictorianSqualor · 17/06/2008 20:21

Surely Imogen is shortened to Ginny?

Anyway, I like both, but Annabel is spelt Annabel.

NomDePlume · 17/06/2008 20:21

Imogen nicer imo.

WhipMeIndiana · 17/06/2008 20:22

Annabel Sarah Cliff

WhipMeIndiana · 17/06/2008 20:23

i make that 9 Imogen to 5 Annabelle (bel)

beansontoast · 17/06/2008 20:25

Annabel....DEFINITELY...imogen is everywhere....actually i think i'd choose Sarah as a first name...simple and beautiful

rachelgreen · 17/06/2008 20:28

annabelle makes me think girlie, dainty
imogen makes me think cheeky, cutey

love annabelle, but it would prob be shortened to anna at school

imogen is more unusual tho - although saying that, you prob wouldn't get too many of either in the playground.

like them both - i'm not much help am i??? ...twins???

ByTheSea · 17/06/2008 20:29

I prefer Annabelle.

WhipMeIndiana · 17/06/2008 20:30

I=9 A=6

WhipMeIndiana · 17/06/2008 20:30

I=9 A=7

LuLuBai · 17/06/2008 20:50

Imogen (my DD's middle name so I'm obviously biased)

Anyway - what happened to the alliteration Benandoli? We loved that on the other thread.

Oh - I've just thought why you shouldn's use Constance - too similar to Clarice Cliff and people would think your daughter was collectable pottery.

bumble75 · 17/06/2008 20:57

Annabelle Sarah is my cousin's name - remember thinking it was such a pretty name when she was born (18 years ago ) - still love it now...

AtheneNoctua · 17/06/2008 21:01
