If you were going to have a baby girl tomorrow, what would you call her?

Renee. Pronounced wren-a

Renee is pronounced Ren - ae. Rena would be the spelling for the pronunciation you want.

I was going for Renee with an Accent over the e, which gives the e an ae pronunciation, if I remember my French correctly. Wasn't sure how you put an Accent on

Rachel
Holly
Elizabeth
Maria
Rosemary
Charlotte
Augusta

I quite like Augusta too!

I suspect it isn't popular with many, but I agree it is time the "stuffy Aunt Augusta" vibes were dusted off as it is quite a nice balance between a good strong stem with a pretty ending, which I think is what I most like in a girl's name.

In that same vein, I like:
Harriet
Harriette
Evangeline
Henrietta
Eliza (and Elizabeth)
Georgiana ( even though I'm not super fond of George for a boy)
Arabella
Alexandra

Not following that pattern, I like Rose and Primrose!

I like Bess.

I like it even better when short for Elizabeth.
