Be gentle I am fussy. ANd devoid of ideas.

I have got 2 lovely boys names sorted, but cannot think of a girl's name. Well, there is 1 that I like - Mary - but dh has vetoed at 'too religious'.

I'd like a name that cannot easliy be shortened, or at least isn't automatically.

I'd like something that isn't 'trying too hard', or too trendy, or too girly so that it sounds sweet on a little girl but stupid on a growth woman.

Please God, let it be a boy So much easier.

Ideally 2 or max 3 syllables. Surname begines with 'K' so not sure about alliteration. Dh suggested Christina - but a. unsure of alliteration, and b. absolutely hate the nn Tina (no offense to anyone please)

Jane, Eve, Faith, Maeve, Tegan, Olwen, Bethan, Miriam, Merry, Berry, Edie, and Antonia with Nina for short would be gorgeous imo (but maybe too girly?)

I like Lottie but not a fan of Charlotte

Another vote for Miranda here (it's impossible to shorten it) I also really like Octavia - but I'm assuming this isn't your 8th child?

nl, nearly, lol. Sorry, don't like names ending in -ee. We have 3 boys, and this is dc no. 4, gender unknown. Fingers crossed, as all sorted, in every dept for boy. inc name. sigh.

Th names also don't work in Germany, so Ruth or Judith sound horrid. (Root! bleurgh)

I like beth, but not Elizabeth, but the th don't work.

Hi Ernest . I wondered if this would be your thread!
