so far we have 3 boys and 1 girl and found choosing their names very easy but this time we just can't really think of any

so far all we have come up with are:

Girls

Ellie - which we both quite like but aren't 100% on

Ella - which is a lovely name but we know loads of ella's

Boys

Miles - but again not 100% on

Please give me all your wonderful suggestions

Diz if you have a girl you will have to call it ................ Dixie

dizzydixies · 28/05/2008 12:21

lol shoshe go and look at dd2's name and you'll see why I can't

minniedot · 28/05/2008 12:50

I really like the names your dc have.

For a boy I think Oden, Roan, Patrick go with them.

For a girl I think Delphine, Kitty, Rose, Nell.

Shoshe · 28/05/2008 12:59

Diz I cant my facebook wont load

VictorianSqualor · 28/05/2008 13:02

Rufus and Clara.

Squirdle · 28/05/2008 13:09

I'm not sure about Ellie if you already have a Lily, it doesn't seem to flow very well.

How about Jemima, I love it

barnstaple · 28/05/2008 13:11

Quintus or Quinta

JessJess3908 · 28/05/2008 13:38

I think Ella would sound lovely next to the names of your other DCs.

This naming business is the hardest decision i've ever had to make. At least i know i can buy a new buggy if you pick a duff one

I just suggested Nell (which is lovely!) and Amelie to DP and he said no to them - said that Nell reminds him of Nelly the Elephant song

i will keep looking through these as though as i really quite like some of them, thanks (even if DP is being awkward!!)

sparklesandnowinefor5months · 28/05/2008 16:42

I know cheeky bugger!

i think i shall just leave DP out of for now, compile a list that i like and tell him to choose from that with no arguments!

dizzydixies · 28/05/2008 16:45

just right, should be a completely democratic decision between you and yourself, tis your uterus after all

write a list of those you like and start saying them out loud when calling on the others and see which 'fits'

although why on earth you're taking suggestions/advice from someone who can't even pick a name for her 3rd dc I'll never know

sparklesandnowinefor5months · 28/05/2008 16:51

I know we'll find something, but we always had a few names we liked with the others this time i don't have any and it panics me to think that this little baby won't have a name when it comes (i know we've got a while but it will pass so quickley!)

OP posts:
dizzydixies · 28/05/2008 16:55

well how about you narrow it down to a few and we can slatethemall give you suggestions/alternatives from those

sparklesandnowinefor5months · 28/05/2008 16:57

good idea, i don't mind being slated helped along

I shall have a good look later but i must go and finish tea now, bye

Sparkles if you didn't want names that can be shortened, maybe Matilda (Tilly, Matty) isn't so good. I think you should call it Oscar if it's a boy. I would love this for LO if it's a boy but DH name starts with O so we've decided not to go there.
I met someone called Theda (pronounce Tayda) which I thought quite nice but maybe doesn't fit with your others.
I was looking for inspiration cos we haven't really come up with any names yet. Feel free to pass on your rejected list....

sparklesandnowinefor4months · 20/06/2008 16:15

Hmmm i know what your saying there Smudgy, same with Edward too could be eddy, ted, teddy

this is too hard!!!
