Sounds a bit like a mythical greek. Definitely unusual, I haven't heard it before. Not sure, but think it might grow on me.

MrsBadger · 23/05/2008 10:47

I was all ready to suggest Susan, Lauren, Charlotte, Megan, Alice, Rose, Grace, Anne, Jane, Violet, Catherine etc

but I think I might be too trad for you

you're going to end up with one of those names discussed at length on a previous thread - Bailey, Tyler, Nico, McKenzie...

How about Madison?

Um, doesn't Thea end in a?

Maud?

Carnival · 23/05/2008 10:57

My favourite, but not very unusual, is Genevieve

MrsBadger · 23/05/2008 10:57

if they're thinking about Auden they're hardly going to go for Harriet

Spudulike? Kwikfit?

LuckySalem · 23/05/2008 10:57

Really sorry if i'm repeating but haven't read through them all but how about Amelie?

LuckySalem · 23/05/2008 10:59

If Auden's a possibility, you have a whole range to choose from! Blake, Coleridge, Yeats, Heaney, Wordsworth, Byron, Rossetti, Plath, Hughes, Armitage, Duffy, Zephaniah...

Actually, some of those aren't too bad

LuckySalem · 23/05/2008 11:01

My daughter is Aaliyah RobYn cos I always thought it had to be spelt that way.

Teuch · 23/05/2008 11:01

I hate 'y' for 'i' anyway so I would always go for Robin.

Personal choice though.

And I know a few female Robins.

MrsBadger · 23/05/2008 11:01

Cope?

PuppyMonkey · 23/05/2008 11:02

I've got a Madeleine..?

cadelaide · 23/05/2008 11:05

CountessDracula, that would be pronounced Aah-noose, I take it?

(well, I don't mean I take it that way obviously....oh...you know what I mean)
