What are your thoughts on the girl name Evelyn?

We used it as a middle name, I love it, my husband preferred our other name so that was a compromise, this was 17 years ago

I’d never think to use the nn Evie for an Evelynbit then I’ve only ever heard it pronounced as Everlyn not Eev-lyn.

And spell it, i like the name as a word but I would hate to be called a name where people will always get it wrong either written or pronounced

Evelyn not in my top hundres however it is not offensive at all.
I like it best pronounced as Eve-lin.

I love it.
We were going to call my daughter that but ended up with Elizabeth instead

It's lovely, with lots of options to shorten it/find nicknames that suit her
