Opinions on the name Natalia?

I really like this name and I’m thinking of using it - potentially as a middle name - for my baby (if she’s a girl).

Opinions on the name?

There was one in my class last year, really lovely girl, so the name has very positive associations for me. I really like it.

I absolutely love the name Natalia. Lovely for a Christmas baby too.

I love it, it was on my list of names for my own DD but my DH didn't like it so it was vetoed.

I am at a loss as to why people come on here to ask questions such as this. There are obviously going to be so many ‘Fors’ and ‘Againsts’ that I can’t see what she’s hoping to achieve. She will be even more confused.
If it were me, I would put both names in a hat, then pick one out. Or use both names, one as a middle name.

I like Natalia and its diminutive, Natasha.

I'm trying to work out why it would sound bad with a Scottish accent.

Because it gets said very gruffly. Hard to write but something like Nat-a-ly

It's a nice name but watching Good American Family has slightly put me off it!

Just don’t name her sister Natasha. I knew Natalia and Natasha who were sisters and always wondered if the parents realised they’d called two daughters the same name.
