I posted last night about the name Franklin.

Do you prefer Vincent? I heard it today not the nn Vinnie though. I would use Vincent / Vin day to day

I have a Vincent! He is known as Vince though. A lovely name, classic, European and has a bit of an edge.

NewMarmiteJar · 27/02/2025 22:19

I love Vincent. Classy.

I liked Franklin more.
If you did have a Vincent I think people would naturally shorten it to Vinny. If you don't like Vinny that would need to be taken into consideration.

Frank and Vinnie sounds quite Eastenders.

greengreyblue · 28/02/2025 06:55

Vincent is a lovely name and more classic.. Franklin is very US sounding.

Disagree. Vincent in full is far nicer.
