Will Olivia inevitably get shortened?

I like the name Olivia, not overly keen on Liv or Livvy. Is this inevitable?

Shortening depends on you when children are young. If you think of names like Chris and Christopher both coexist.

Don't introduce your child how you do not want them to be referred to. When older your child will set the standard by how they introduce themselves.

My DGD is Ollie to me !
