I'm six months pregnant with first and expecting a daughter. Italian family.

Stuck between Annabella and Isabella.

Which do you like best?

@YourAmberFawn , it isn't but if you look at Isabella/Arabella/Annabelle/Isabelle then it seems to be samey.

I’m not keen on either - both a bit too long and frilly for my taste. I’d probably pick Isabella of the two. But there are so many other gorgeous Italian names!

I get you, but personally I’ve never met an Annabella and I think it’s a gorgeous name - I think it stands out from the others similar to it. I’m not sure why.

There are too many Annabelle/Annabelle/
Annabel/Annabell/Isabella/Isabell/Isabelles already imo

Really like Isabella though it is popular. I like Annabelle and Arabella but not Annabella. Somehow its a syllable too long. I think because it sounds like two equally emphasised names stuck together, in a way the others don’t. Whereas the Ara part of arabella is much lighter, less plodding.

This is exactly what I think.

I still like Annabella but think Annabelle and Arabella are slightly more elegant/sophisticated and less frilly. I think they work for a grown woman better.

These are my 2 daughter’s middle names. My maiden name was Bell so I was being clever by having an ‘is a Bell’ and an ‘and a Bell’

I like Isabel/Isabella but not Annabelle/Annabella. It’s too frilly for me.

Annabella, I also like Annabelle

I think I prefer Annabella although they're both nice.
